Meet Our Connections Preschool Staff
Each of us loves children and loves to teach. We also love to share with children that Jesus loves them and cares for them through our actions and words.
Connections Preschool uses The Creative Curriculum for Preschool as our core for lesson planning, but we also use other resources in supplement. The curriculum is created as developmentally appropriate with a focus on objectives and not theme driven. We find that focusing on developmentally appropriate objectives ensures learning through play and allows more opportunities for individualized instruction. We provide opportunities for children to learn about Gods world and how to live in it. We also teach life skills and relationship skills.
Connections Preschool has fully implemented Conscious Discipline and the staff received training from Kim Hughes, a master instructor for Conscious Discipline.

Please dress children in washable clothing. We do try to be careful with paint, etc. but accidents do occur. Please bring an extra set of clothing for young children
Please use the security system provided at the reception desk. Allergy Alert stickers are also available at the desk.
Please remain outside the classroom to drop off and pick up your child. If you have older children, please have them wait outside the classroom.

Never leave the church property while your child is in our care. Only under special circumstances can children be cared for while parents are off the church property. For the protection of others, parents are requested not to leave a child who is ill, or who has been ill within the last 24 hours, with fever, skin infection, pink eye, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Medications will only be given by the parent only.
