Meet Sara Schwerin! She is the Center Director at West Cedar Rapids KinderCare. Sara attended the University of Northern Iowa and Northwestern University, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Middle School Education. She also has earned an endorsement in Early Childhood Education and Science. She has been with KinderCare since 2001, and before that she was a teacher. Outside of work, Sara has seats on both the East Central NAEYC board and the Iowa NAEYC governing board. Additionally, she loves spending time with her family and serving the community as a foster parent.
